THE INSPIRATION
It is that time again, a new artwork collection launch. As always before even starting on a collection I start with a rough idea or concept to base everything around. This time was inspired by our relationship with femininity. Who I am as a woman, the endless possibility of who I will be and the different facets of my own femininity.

THE PROCESS
Firstly was the lettering. I worked with an undone aesthetic throughout all of the lettering through the collection. A lot based on traditional serif typefaces, but illustrated with paint to bring out texture and imperfections.
Secondly, I knew I wanted to expand on my mixed media prints from the last collection, working through my floral archive to be inspired all over again. Fleur No.1 & No.2 are definitely some of my favourite results of experimentation in the last few months. These are the first two of many to come.
Thirdly, was a cut & paste experimentation that made its arrival into the collection in the last week of designing. It started while picking up confetti from a craft store when I found three coloured card stacked on top of each other. I didn't know why I was buying it but I knew I had to have it. That turned into a whole weekend of tearing paper.

MADE FOR EACHOTHER
I have mixed and matched some of my favourite combinations from the collection below for some inspiration.
